Most folks need one hour with the ponies. This fits nicely into any party schedule. One hour with two ponies is great for up to twenty children.
One pony $125 first hour, $75 for additional hour
Two ponies $200 first hour, $150 for additional hour
Prices include travel within 40 miles of our farm in Lockport, NY. If you are more than 40 miles away we will be glad to refer you to someone closer to you!
A $75 non-refundable deposit is needed to reserve your date from May through October. We will come rain or shine during the warm weather months, as it is hard to tell a child their party is canceled due to the weather. If you would like to postpone or cancel due to weather, please call us at least 48 hours in advance we will be glad to work with you to arrange another date. No deposit is required for parties booked in November through April.
Dates are reserved on a first come-first serve basis on receipt of the deposit, so contact us to be sure your desired date is still available then submit the deposit promptly to avoid disappointment!
- Are Pony Rides Safe?
Safety is our main concern. We always walk right next to the child, and for children under four and children who are nervous we suggest a parent or other adult in addition to our helpers walk along side to help the child feel secure.
Children must be under the control of a supervising adult at all times while the ponies are present. There will be no running, yelling or screaming in the direct vicinity of the ponies. Children must approach the ponies from the front only.
We do not allow dogs in the area of the ponies as excited dogs could scare the ponies.
Blaze's Pony Express is fully insured and can provide a certificate of liability insurance upon request.
- Will the ponies make a mess?
We will clean up any manure. Please be aware though, that if the ponies are set up on soft ground, their hooves may do damage to your lawn. We can not be responsible for any lawn repair.
- Is there anything else I need to know?
In the hot summer months, a shady or partially shady area is need for the comfort of the children and the ponies.
The ponies cannot be set up on grass that has been chemically treated within the past week.
If you are having a pool or water slide at your party, please have the children dry off before riding the ponies.
- Do I need a big yard?
No! Our ponies have given rides in small yards, driveways and up and down sidewalks. We can also go to most local parks.
